The University of Applied Management was founded in 2004, and in 2012, this university was institutionally accredited by the German Council of Science and Humanities. In 2015, it relocated some of its students to Ismaning and built its new headquarters there in 2017. UAM uses the semi-virtual study concept in which the students will use an online learning platform, where students can obtain knowledge by using multimedia tools.
