XIM University evaluates students based on their performance in semester examinations and internal assessments. XIM University follows the ‘Letter Grade’ pattern in compliance with the CBCS structure of the UGC. For undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, the university conducts semester exams at regular intervals and students also have to complete internal assignments and projects assigned to them by their respective faculty members. For doctoral courses, students are evaluated on various parameters. Students are evaluated based on their performance during coursework, publishing of research papers, presentation of research papers in seminars and workshops, preparation of dissertation/Thesis with original research work, and grand viva.
