CAT 2024 Live: CAT Exam Analysis, Result, Score and Percentile, Cut-off

CAT, Common Admission Test, conducted on 24 November 2024, under the 3 slots on which difficulty level depends. In a year, the CAT Exam can be held for one time in the three slots. As per the guidelines, the Answer Key of the CAT 2024 exam will soon be published on the official website at https://iimcat.ac.in/. The November 2024 CAT exam result will be declared on January 2025, expected in the 2nd week of the exam.

More than 3.29 lakh CAT applicants are present in the exam. As per the test takers, the CAT Exam 2024 level review analysis is situated below:

Slot 1 = Easy
Slot 2 = Easy but Lengthy
Slot 3 = Easy to Moderate

The Reliable Timings of the CAT Exam are given in the 3 slots which are mentioned below;

Slot 1 = 8:30 am to 10:30 am
Slot 2 = 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
Slot 3 = 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm

The CAT candidates assume that the 2024 paper had some modifications from previous year examinations, like:

An augmented number of Questions in the Exam, around 66 to 68 questions.
In the Verbal and Reading Comprehension section (VARC), the para jumbles need to be included or occupied.

Overall, the CAT Exam can be divided into three sections: VARC (Verbal and Reading Comprehension section), QA (Quantitative Ability section), and DILR (Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning Section). Candidates have 120 minutes to complete the exam, and 40 minutes have been given for each section.

The marking scheme of the CAT exam 2024 is as follows:

The total marks for the CAT exams are 198, which can be calculated section-wise by providing +3 marks for right answers and -1 negative marks for wrong answers. After that, add all the sections' marks and the total marks will be obtained.

Check your score and percentile, or download it.
