Symbiosis Online MBA Eligibility & Duration 

The duration of the Distance PGDM course offered by Symbiosis is the same as that of online MBA which is 2 years. The curriculum is divided into 4 equal semesters. 

The eligibility criteria for admission in the program is as follows:

  • The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any university or higher education institution that is recognised by the Govt. of India. 
  • International/SAARC students must have graduated from an accredited university that is recognised by the Govt. of India. 
  • Students in the final semester of graduation are also eligible to apply for the program provided that they successfully complete and receive their results within the time period that has been specified by SCDL.  

How to Apply for Symbiosis Online MBA Course 

You can very easily apply for the Symbiosis Online MBA program in the online mode by following the steps given below: 

Step 1- Go to the “SCDL Apply Online Portal” and click on “Sign Up” after which you will receive your login credentials on your registered email id. 

Step 2- Use these credentials to login and then purchase the application form. For reference on filling up the form, you can also download the e-prospectus. 

Step 3- After filling up your details, upload your recent colored passport size photograph, identity proof, academic documents, your signature, and work experience certificates if you have any. 

Step 4- Submit the tuition fee as per the timeline specified by SCDL. After your document verification and after your tuition fee has been processed, you will be notified in your mail with instructions regarding further procedures.

Symbiosis does not offer MBA in the online mode. However, it offers a distance Post Graduate Diploma in various Management specialisations which is equivalent to an online MBA.

Symbiosis offers distance PGDM in various specialisations in the ODL mode, which is equivalent to an online MBA. Symbiosis has a very high acceptance in the industry as it is one of the top universities in India in the Management domain. Symbiosis is also an education provider to some of the top corporate companies like Bajaj Finance Ltd, Airtel, Cognizant, and more. It offers full placement assistance to the students. The learning environment is highly flexible along with a robust and dynamic assessment system.

Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) offers a total of 17 specialisations for its distance PGDM program. Some of the popular ones are- Business Administration, HRM, International Business, Banking and Financial Services, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, etc.

Symbiosis offers distance Post Graduate Diploma in various Management specialisations. The fee is the same for all the specialisations. The tuition fee is INR 50,000/- and the application fee is INR 1,200/- for the Indian Students. For international students, the tuition fee is USD 1,645/- and the application fee is USD 100/-. There is scholarship for Defence personnels and students from SAARC nations.

Symbiosis does not offer an online MBA. Instead, Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) offers the distance PGDM course which is very much valid as SCDL has been recognised by AICTE.
