The University Grants Commission has decided to conduct Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to postgraduate courses from 2022. This entrance test will be conducted in the 3rd week of July and its registration process has already been started. Erstwhile, the UGC chief announced that the CUET scores will be taken into consideration for admission, not class 12th scores. This will be mandatory for admission to 45 central universities.
Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) for post-graduate admissions to be held in last week of July 2022. Application Form submission will start today on NTA website. Programmes details will be available on websites of participating Central Universities & other Universities.
“CUET for PG admissions will also be introduced from the 2022 academic session. The exam will be conducted in the third week of July and the application process will begin today and will conclude on June 18,” Mr Kumar told PTI.
The entrance exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English language and it will be a Computer Based Test.
CUET will be conducted by the National Testing Agency which is the Indian government agency and was established to conduct entrance examinations of educational institutions. This is a reminder that the last date of CUET registration for PG courses is 18th June and for UG courses it is 22nd May.
