The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the dates for Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET-UG) application form submission dates. Interested students can fill out the application form and submit it to the official website of NTA, nta.ac.in. 

As per the latest notice from NTA, the last date for CUET-UG 2024 form submission is March 26th, 2024, at 11:50 PM. After the 26th of March 2024, the correction procedure started between the 28th and 29th of March 2024. After the correction of the application, the allotment of centers started on April 30, 2024. However, in the middle of May 2024, admit cards will be uploaded, and exams will be started between May 15 and 30, 2024. Eligibility

These are the eligibility criteria for the CUET-UG 2024 Examinations:

  • Students must clear the 10+2 standard.
  • Or, those appearing for the 2024 12th exams
  • There is no age limit for this examination

List of Qualifying Exams

  • 10+2 final exam Pre-university test for intermediate or 2-years
  • National Defence Academy's Joint Services Wing two-year course final exam Senior Secondary School Examination
  • Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
  • Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
  • General Certificate of Education (GCE) test
  • High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University or International
  • Baccalaureate diploma from the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
  • Candidates who have passed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India 

Registration Procedure

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA,CUET-UG 2024.
  • Step 2: Register yourself by following all the details and writing down the registration number.
  • Step 3: Students can log in to the website by using their registration number and password to complete the admission procedure.
  • Step 4: Upload the scanned document of the student’s signature and passport-size photo.
  • Step 5: Pay the registration fees.
  • Step 6: After completing the registration, students can print out the confirmation page for future use.

Document Needed

  • The passport size of students in color and black and white with 80% face visibility
  • The scanned copy of the student's signature and photo should be in JPG/JPEG format.
  • The size of the scanned photo is between 10kb and 200kb.
  • The size of the scanned signature is between 4 and 30kb.
  • The picture should be clearly visible.

Mode of Exams

The CUET-UG 2024 examination will be conducted fully in hybrid mode, with both pen and paper and computer-based testing (CBT) options available. The exam will be offered in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Candidates must choose their chosen language for the question paper when completing the online application form, since this option cannot be changed later. It is advised that candidates carefully evaluate and submit their applications.

Choice of Centers

In the CUET-UG 2024 examination, students have four options to choose from for their exam center. Sometimes, because of some logistics and administrative decisions, a newly chosen center can be allotted to the candidates. As per the official notice, the choice of exam center cities will be limited to the state of the permanent address or the state of the present address only. The CUET-UG exam will be conducted in 354 states and 26 cities abroad.

Application Fees and Mode

The candidates can complete the registration form by submitting the registration fees. They can submit the fees by various methods, such as debit cards, credit cards, UPI, net banking, and many more. The confirmation page of the online application form will only be produced if the candidate has successfully paid. If the confirmation page is not created after paying the fee, the applicant may need to contact the relevant bank or payment channel to guarantee a successful payment or to receive a refund for duplicate or multiple payments. Exam Pattern

The CUET-UG 2024 exam will be held in a hybrid-mode pen-and-paper and computer-based format. The subjects that have the highest number of registrations will be held in pen-and-paper mode, and those subjects that have the fewest registrations will be held in computer-based mode. 60 minutes will be given to this section.

Note: 

  • The students can only choose six subjects maximum.
  • The overall choice of 10 questions will be given in 61 subjects.
