IGNOU Extended Jan 2024 Registration Dates Till 20th March

IGNOU has extended the admission deadline for its January 2024 session to March 20th, giving potential students additional time to submit their applications.

According to an official notification from IGNOU, the deadline for "Fresh Admissions" and re-registration in all Open and Distance Learning (ODL)/Online programs for the January 2024 session has been extended till March 20th, 2024. Earlier the last date of IGNOU registration was supposed to be 10th March but now get extended. It is important to remember that after the application has been approved, a non-refundable registration fee will be needed in addition to the program cost for the first semester or year.

Documents Required:

For the registration procedure in IGNOU, students must submit a few documents with specific sizes. The list of the documents and required size are mentioned below:

• Passport size in 100kb
• Signature in 100kb
• Educational certificate scanned copies in 200kb
• Caste Certificate scanned copies in 200kb (if you belong to reserved categories)
• Work Experience scanned copies in 200kb (if you have any)

• Step 4: Check the details you filled in, then pay the registration amount via Net Banking
• Step 5: Save the copy of the confirmation letter after registration for future use.

The registration fee is not the refundable amount that students need to pay but the course fee is refundable with various criteria such as if you avail the refund before confirmation then the full amount will be refunded. However, after 15 days of confirmation, the program fees with a deduction of 500 were refunded and after 90 days no program fees were refunded.
