The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has started the online registration process today, i.e., on September 03, 2024, for the Joint Admission Test for Masters(JAM) 2025. The last date to apply for the application form is October 11, 2024. The exam will be conducted in written mode on February 2, 2025. There are seven papers in JAM 2025- Economics, Mathematics, Geology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Statistics, and Physics.
The Joint Admission Test for Masters is for students who are seeking admission to PG programs like M.Sc, M.Sc-Ph.D, and M.Sc-M.Tech dual degree programs.
IIT JAM 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The minimum eligibility criteria for registering for the examination is an undergraduate degree without any age restriction for all nationalities. Candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree in 2025 and are eligible to appear for the examination.
IIT JAM 2025 Application Fees
For candidates in the Female and SC/ST/PWD categories, the JAM 2025 application fee costs ₹900 for one paper and ₹1250 for two papers. Moreover, the cost for the application fee for the rest of the candidates is ₹1800 for one paper and ₹2500 for two papers.
How to Apply for IIT JAM Application Form 2025?
- Step 1- Visit the official jam2025.iitd.ac.in website.
- Step 2- Click on the candidate portal button available on the homepage.
- Step 3- A new window will open and direct you to the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS).
- Step 3- Register yourself on the JOAPS website, by providing the credentials.
- Step 4- After that, you will get your enrollment ID and OTP on your registered mobile number and E-mail address.
- Step 5- Now, log in using your enrollment ID and password and submit the application form.
- Step 6- Fill the required information and upload all the documents.
- Step 7- Pay the application fee using the electronic payment mode.
- Step 8- Save and check the status of the application form.
