B.Tech Lateral Entry – Introduction
B.Tech is a bachelor’s degree program in engineering that offers a wide range of specializations or divisions. B.Tech Lateral Entry allows students to enroll in equivalent engineering programs directly in the second year. B.Tech Lateral Entry is the equivalent of a B.Tech course, but it is only available for students who have completed a 3-year diploma or polytechnic course.
B.Tech Lateral Entry In Government College – Eligibility
The primary requirement for admission to the B.Tech lateral entry course is that students have completed a diploma in the same field in which they wish to pursue the lateral entry B.Tech course. Besides that, the eligibility criteria for B.Tech Lateral entry is that the students only need a 3-year diploma from the same branch to enrol in B.Tech Lateral Entry courses.
After 10th grade, you can apply for your diploma, i.e. the polytechnic courses. Also, the candidates need to clear the entrance exam to be eligible for the course.
