Shri Venkateshwara University (SVU) is situated in Gajraula, Uttar Pradesh. The university is known to promote excellence in higher education in India. SVU has been approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to offer technical courses.
In an initiative to bridge the gap between academia and industry needs, SVU provides technical education in the form of B.Tech and M.Tech courses for working professionals under the scheme of Work Integrated Learning Program (WILP). These courses are in the part-time mode so that working professionals can easily balance both their work and studies.
SVU is approved and entitled by UGC and AICTE to offer technical courses under the WILP category. The classes are conducted in a hybrid mode with a blend of online and offline classes. The offline classes are mandatory for practical learning and are held in the evening, on weekends, and on holidays.
Students get the facility of a Learning Management System (LMS) where they can access the recorded video lectures in case they miss their online classes and other relevant study material for their course as well. Labs are conducted for practical learning every Saturday on campus. In case anybody is unable to attend the on-campus labs, then they get the facility to access labs through virtual and remote mode with simulations.

Admission Open 2023
There is an online admission procedure for applying to a WILP program at SVU. Fresh admissions starts generally in the month of January of every year. One only needs to fill up the admission form available online on the SVU WILP website and apply directly for admission. Note there is no entrance exam conducted for WILP programs, unlike other B.Tech programs. The admission procedure for 2023 for online courses at SVU WILP is as follows:
Step 1Visit the official website of SVU WILP.
Step 2On the Home Page, you will find Apply Now under which you have to fill in your basic details and submit.
Step 3Now the admission form will open on your screen. Fill in your basic personal details and click on “Next”.
Step 4Now select your course and specialization and complete the fee payment.
Step 5Fill in all your academic details and then upload the necessary documents and then Submit.
Examination Pattern
The semester exams are conducted offline and on campus. These exams are usually scheduled over weekends. Apart from the semester exams, all the other assignments/quizzes are held online.

SVU is approved and entitled by UGC to offer the M.Tech course under the WILP category. The course is not completely online but in a hybrid mode.
WILP stands for Work Integrated Learning Program. This scheme has been designed specifically for working professionals. Under the WILP scheme, working professionals will be able to pursue technical courses like B.Tech and M.Tech without leaving their jobs. SVU offers the WILP courses in a hybrid mode with a blend of online and on-campus classes.
Under the WILP category, SVU offers B.Tech in 6 specializations and M.Tech in 10 specializations.

No, M.Tech can not be pursued in the online mode because the government doesn’t allow it as it is a technical course. However, there is a special privilege for working professionals as they can pursue M.Tech in online or hybrid mode under the Work Integrated Learning Program (WILP) scheme.
SVU conducts hybrid classes for its WILP courses. Theoretical learning is through online classes while practical learning is through offline on-campus classes and practical labs. Those who miss online classes can access the recorded lectures on the LMS and those who can not attend on-campus labs can access them in virtual and remote mode.
