Is Online BA in Tamil Worth It?
The question on the value of regional language degrees is widespread in the context of fast globalization, however, the answer to the question in the context of Tamil is a resounding. Yes, Tamil is not a simple language it is a civilization that has a literary tradition, which has a millennium-long span of existence. There are several reasons why an online BA in Tamil is an attractive course.
To start with, there are unlimited demands for Tamil language specialists in government departments, educational institutions, media houses, translation procedures, and cultural institutions. As the Government of India focuses on facilitating the use of the regional language and the Tamil Nadu Government implements multiple programs to support and maintain Tamil, specialists are required in the field of endeavour. Secondly, the emergence of Tamil content on OTT platforms, YouTube, social media, and websites has given content writers, scriptwriters, and editors who have received formal training in Tamil an unprecedented opportunity.
The degree is also a good measure for competitive examinations that include Tamil literature as an optional subject, and in most cases, the candidates have an advantage, since they are already aware of what is being examined.

Cost decided this for me. Seeing the full fee and the EMI options before speaking to anyone meant I could plan the three years properly, instead of finding out later.
