Online B.Com Eligibility & Duration

An online BCom program has quite straightforward eligibility requirements, making it even more accessible to finance and accounting aspirants. The common requirements for this program at most universities are as follows:

Mandatory Requirements for Online B.Com Course:

• Pass the 12th standard from an accredited state or central school board
• Achieve at least 50% in your 10+2 exam
• A background in math/finance/accounting is preferred
• Possess a strong knowledge of English

To be eligible for an online BCom degree, international applicants must provide a senior secondary school certificate attesting to the completion of 12 years of formal education. Additionally, the Indian universities providing this online program will need to have an Association of Indian Universities certification.

Duration of The Online B.Com Course

The minimum length of an online B.Com degree is three years, divided into six semesters. All of the core finance and account management subjects are taught over these six semesters, coupled with a project or dissertation.  Students enrolled in this course must receive the minimum passing grades in each semester, as set by the university, to be eligible for an online BCom degree. The maximum time to finish this online undergraduate degree at some universities is six years. However, students will be required to pay additional examination fees for each topic for each reappearance exam.
