BITS (Birla Institute of Technology and Science) Pilani is a reputed engineering college. The program which is introduced by BITS Pilani is a 2-year long program divided into four semesters and is approved by the UGC (University Grant Commission). So that learners or employees don’t have to take a career break to enhance their skills. Besides, numerous new possibilities and doors are opened for employees.
The program will help the learners develop an understanding of new concepts in the core subjects including programming languages, natural language processing, data analysis, computer vision, and AI ethics. Furthermore, the curriculum of the M.Tech WILP AI & ML is developed in such a way that learners can offer advanced AI Solutions.
Additionally, most of the learners are professionals so they can’t attend lectures delivered on campus. Thus, for convenience, the service of live lectures is shared with the M.Tech WILP applicants so they don’t miss anything that is taught in the classes. Generally, classes are organized at convenient times for the working professionals like weekends and holidays. When students are unable to attend the live lectures, access to the recording sessions is shared with them.

Who Can Apply?

- Applicants must be working professionals.
- Applicants should have completed the B.Tech/ B.E. engineering degrees. The institute asks for at least 60% aggregate marks plus one year of working experience to be eligible to apply for the M.Tech WILP program.
- Working professionals who have completed their MCA/ M.Sc. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate score with mandatory subjects mathematics/ statistics at graduation or postgraduation level can enroll if they have one year of relevant working experience.
- Moreover, students should know computing and programming languages.

BITS WILP Online M.Tech in AI and ML Admission Process
Students willing to enroll under the Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP) of BITS Pilani are required first to check the eligibility criteria of the program and then proceed with the further admission process, which requires a few steps that are mentioned below:
Step 1 - To initiate the admission process the applicant is required to visit the official website of the BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP) and start with the registration process.
Step 2- After successfully completing the registration, the applicant will receive their login credentials for the admission portal.
Step 3 - Log on to the admission/student portal, click on the online application form simultaneously, and start filling out the application form with personnel, professional, and educational information.
Step 4 - While filling out the application form applicants are required to attach the required documents along with the application form.
Step 5 - When the form is filled out and all the documents are attached, students are redirected to the payment page. But make sure before payment of the fee students must go through their admission process to avoid any misinformation or irregularities as the university can reject the application form for any wrong information or mistake.
Step 6 - The applicant can proceed with the payment of the fee through debit/credit card, UPI, online net banking, or NEFT.
Step 7 - When the application form is submitted, the applicant must print out the application form and fee receipt for future reference.

BITS WILP Online M.Tech in AI and ML Examination Pattern
The examination pattern at BITS Pilani WILP programs is divided into three parts: Assignment / Quiz (Online), Mid Semester Test, and Comprehensive exam respectively. The weightage of each component is as follows Assignment / Quiz carries 15%, Mid Semester Test carries 35%, and Comprehensive Exam carries 50%. Each semester of the program conducts these three components to evaluate the overall theoretical and practical understanding of the student.
