Central University of Himachal Pradesh Examination Pattern
CUHP follows a semester system of examination for the majority of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. There are mid-semester (or continuous assessment) exams, and then end-semester exams, which collectively contribute to the final mark. Question papers typically have a combination of objective type (multiple-choice) and subjective type (long-answer) questions, subject to the course and department. For PhD admissions, there is an exam on 50% research methodology and 50% subject matter.
