Chaudhary Charan Singh University

The Chaudhary Charan Singh University is one of the most prominent and well known universities in western Uttar Pradesh. The university is situated in Meerut and was established in 1965. The university offers a top notch education system with globally recognized programs that equip students with in-depth and keen knowledge and understanding of programs opted by them with a strong educational base in the industry. The Chaudhary Charan Singh University offers various regular and online (non attending) undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, PG Diploma, and doctoral level programs. 

The Chaudhary Charan Singh University celebrated its silver jubilee in 1991. The university has an enormous campus comprising all the required facilities with a technically updated infrastructure. The university offers cultural diversity to its students and it also allows students personal growth via various societies and cultural events that are organized regularly by the university. There is a dedicated placement cell of the university which remains active throughout the academic journey of the students and guides them to acquire relevant skills and abilities to get placed in their preferred industry with a decent package and relevant job profile. 

The Chaudhary Charan Singh University is named after the late Prime Minister Ch. Charan Singh and the campus have a life size statue of him as well. The university was formerly known as Meerut University and is accredited with an A++ grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). There are various financial aid are offered at the university loans, no cost EMI, and scholarships to assist students with financial constraints and lessen the fee burden on the students. 

The Chaudhary Charan Singh University imparts education nationwide with a world-class education system and revised curriculum as per the latest education policy. The university came up with a non-attending education initiative to allow students who are willing to pursue their further and higher studies but due to lack of facilities and funds, they are not able to do so. The university has specially designed the fee structure of every offered program in such a way that it becomes affordable and budget-friendly for students and working professionals as well. The university offers a few scholarships and loan facilities to its students as financial aid but there are no EMI options available at the university.

All the programs at Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) follow a semester pattern and the evaluation of a student is based on the marks obtained at the end of every semester meanwhile, every semester includes continuous class assessment and term end examinations. The continuous assessment includes class tests, assignments, seminars, quizzes, and viva voce. Simultaneously, the end term examinations are comprised of theoretical exams and the evaluation also includes the marks obtained and the performance of a student in the practicals, project work, and design reports. This helps in evaluating the overall theoretical and practical understanding of students throughout their academic journey at the university.
