IIM Calcutta Online MBA

IIM Calcutta doesn’t provide an Online MBA program but there are other viable options such as MBA for Executives. The MBA for Executives program spanning a year is a residential program provided by IIM Calcutta that is meant for executives who have experience of more than 5 years looking to upskill themselves with the knowledge & skills in management & business that are relevant in the context of present management trends and needs of organizations.

These students take up this program to expand their skill set by equipping themselves with the latest additions to the field of management. These students are developed with the guidance of the esteemed faculty and industry experts partnered with IIM Calcutta and forged into becoming versatile multi-faceted management leaders who pragmatically lead teams and foster the company’s growth in senior or top management roles of added responsibilities.

IIM Calcutta has been a prolific contributor in producing management leaders who have grown to take up roles that have changed the landscape for organizations they have been involved with. Through this program, the student gets to network with juniors & seniors with diverse professional backgrounds whose experiences can be shared through an exchange of ideas & innovation leading to a possible collaboration in the near future.

The fee for the MBA for Executives program is INR 31 Lakhs.

The eligibility criteria for enrolling in the MBA for Executives program are given in the following: 

• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
• The candidate must have work experience of a minimum of 5 years in managerial/professional positions, after graduation.
• The candidate should have a valid GMAT score that is applicable within 36 months before the date of application.

For Online examination conduction, the University has collaborated with Mercer. This is a global portal for online examinations that helps in remote proctoring. They have more than 2,000 proctors that anchor large-scale examination processes and ensure cheating-proof conduction of examinations. They have maintained the robustness of all the assessment processes and maintained high standards and a highly high-prestigious image even for online mode of courses. 

IIM Calcutta doesn’t provide an Online MBA, but there is a good alternative: the MBA for Executives program that the student could opt for and advance in his/her career prospects. Students pursuing the MBA for Executives program aspire to become professionals who are supposed to take roles in management leadership. For this, IIM Calcutta provides placements where reputed companies come to the campus and offer jobs to competent students. Some of the companies that participated in the placement event were RPG, Infosys, Persistent, Genpact, Accenture, etc. The highest CTC achieved by the latest batch was around INR 51-53 LPA.
