The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is a 2-year programme provided by IIM Kozhikode that covers the academic aspects of management and its functional areas that are meant to create leaders who have managerial prowess as well as a good sense of the dynamic business world. The Post Graduate Programme in Management - Business Leadership is a one-year residential programme provided by IIM Kozhikode that has a holistic curriculum covering functional areas of management. IIM Kozhikode Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management Fees

The Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management is a two-year program that is held both online and offline covering the field of management’s functional areas, meant for working executives & entrepreneurs who learn to be management professionals on a higher level and navigate through the challenges posed by the ever-changing business environment. The students of this program are taught general and strategic perspectives that help them student become professionals who can make critical decisions and efficiently execute organizational goals. 

Being a student of this program gives me the advantage of using learnings on the job and not quitting work. A diverse set of students join this program from a variety of professional backgrounds that promote networking, exchange of ideas, and collaboration. There are two kinds of batches for this program, firstly there is the online batch that takes place through weekday evenings, and secondly, the offline batch that takes place on weekends. This program takes place at the Kochi campus of IIM Kozhikode. The following is the fee structure of the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management given below-

IIM Kozhikode Scholarships

(1) The following are the scholarships provided by the institute:

• IIMK Merit Scholarship:
  • This scholarship is awarded to the students belonging to the programmes that are PGP (Post Graduate Programme in Management), PGPLSM (Post Graduate Programme in Management-Liberal Studies & Management) and PGPFIN (Post Graduate Programme in Management-Finance).
  • The student should either be in the first or second year of the previously mentioned programmes.
  • The criteria for awarding them is based on the CGPA received by the student in one year.
  • For every 20 students, 1 student will be receiving the scholarship in the first or second year.
• IIMK Need-Based Financial Assistance:
  • For students who have unfavorable economic conditions to pay the fees.
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • For students with a previous year's gross annual family income less than or equal to INR 8 Lakhs. 
    • The loan taken up by the student should be from a scheduled commercial bank.
    • Loan Disbursement details must be produced by the second-year student who has taken up a loan. These loan disbursement details must be submitted as per the prescribed format issued by the authorities of the bank.
    • During the course, the student should not have any record of misconduct or indiscipline.
  • Students who have more than one kind of financial assistance such as a scholarship, stipend, grant, etc. must refund all of them with the exception of one financial assistance.
  • A final rank list will be made by the Financial Aid Committee (FAC) based on a financial score, which will eventually lead to the decision of how much quantum of financial assistance will be provided.

(2) The following are the scholarships provided by the Central Government:

• Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students:
  • This scholarship is provided by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.
  • This scholarship is meant for students who belong to the SC category.
  • The students who can apply for this scholarship whose annual parental income of less than or equal to INR 8 Lakhs.
  • This scholarship is awarded to a maximum of up to ten students.
• National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students:
  • This scholarship is provided by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.
  • Students belonging to the ST category can apply for this scholarship.
  • Students with a previous year’s annual parental income of less than or equal to INR 6 Lakhs.
  • There is no limit, when it comes to slots for applying for this scholarship.
• Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses CS:
  • This scholarship is provided by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India.
  • Students belonging to minority communities can apply for this scholarship.
  • A minimum of 50% marks or equivalent must be scored by the student in the previous final examination.
  • For the student, whose previous year’s annual family income is equal to or less than INR 2.5 Lakhs.
• Scholarships for Top Class Education for students with disabilities:
  • This scholarship is provided by the Ministry of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India.
  • For the students with a disability of more than 40% should have a certificate of disability that is valid as prescribed by the rules of the competent authority.
  • This scholarship is for students whose parental annual income is less than or equal to INR 8 Lakhs.
• Prime Ministers Scholarship Scheme for the wards of Central Armed Police Forces(CAPF), Assam Rifles (AR) & state police personnel Ministry of Home Affairs:
  • This scholarship is provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
  • Below listed are the students who can apply for this scholarship:
    • The wards/widows belonging to personnel of CAPF/AR who died in harness/election duty.
    •  Disabled wards or personnel who were disabled due to causes attributable to government services.
    • Wards belonging to Ex CAPFs & AR personnel who have received Gallantry awards.
  • Students who have obtained a minimum of 60% in Minimum Entry Qualification (MEQ) that are 10+2/Diploma/Graduation or equivalent.

3) These are the scholarships provided by the State Governments:

• Rajarshri Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship
  • This scholarship is provided by the Government of Maharashtra.
  • Eligibility of the students for the scholarship: 
    • In the state of Maharashtra, the student must have a domicile or should be belonging to the border areas between Maharashtra and Karnataka.
    • The student should belong to the Maharatha community.
    • For the student with an annual family income equal to or less than INR 8 Lakhs.
• Scholarship Scheme of Government of Tamil Nadu
  • This scholarship is provided by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
  • This scholarship is provided to students who belong to BC/MBC/DNC communities.
  • The students with annual family income less than or equal to INR 2 Lakhs are considered for the scholarship.

4) These are the scholarships provided by Private Organisations:

• IDFC First Bank MBA Scholarship
  • This scholarship is provided by the IDFC First Bank.
  • The students admitted through merit are considered for this scholarship.
  • For the students with annual parental income less than or equal to INR 6 Lakhs.
  • The student must be of Indian nationality.
  • The students applying for this scholarship should be enrolled in an MBA or PG Diploma in Management.
  • The scholarship amount received is INR 1 Lakh per student per year.
• Mirae Asset Foundation (MAF) Scholarship
  • This scholarship is provided by the Mirae Asset Foundation.
  • The students considered for this scholarship are first-year & second-year students who have high merit and need financial assistance.
  • The students with an annual family income of INR 8 Lakhs or less will be considered.
  • The students are selected and later an interview takes place that leads to making a final list of students.
  • The scholarship awarded is worth INR 5 Lakhs.
• Aditya Birla Scholarship
  • This scholarship is provided by Aditya Birla Group.
  • The criteria for the scholarship are laid out by the Aditya Birla Group itself.
  • Eligible to apply: On the basis of the criteria mentioned previously, 20 students are selected for eligibility to apply for this scholarship.
  • A written test and interview will be conducted by Aditya Birla Group for the shortlisted students for evaluation. 
  • The scholarship can be continued in the second year if the student is in the top 25 of his/her batch after the 1st year results.
  • Every student passing all the conditions gets a scholarship of INR 1.75 Lakh per year.
• OP Jindal Engineering & Management Scholarship 
  • For the first/second year, the top ten students in both batches are eligible for this scholarship.
  • The criteria for selection are laid down by the scholarship provider itself.
  • The recipient selected by passing all the conditions will receive a scholarship of INR 1.5 Lakhs per year.
