Online MBA is not provided at IIM Lucknow but there is another alternative that is equally considered a standard MBA program which is the Executive MBA. Also known as the Post Graduate Program in Management for Working Executives (PGPWE), this program is designed to consider the learning requirements of professional executives and entrepreneurs, who plan to be a management professional as well as a business leader who can use his/her current experience to upgrade to a managerial mindset that involves managerial thinking, managerial perspectives, and the best practices of decision making. 

This 2-year MBA program covers modules that are about the complex workings of each functional area of management that plays a role in shaping the student’s foundation in understanding each functional area’s role in business structures. In addition to that, through electives, the student gets to carve a niche for himself/herself to become an expert in one of the specializations. This program is also meant to accommodate job life and student life in balance in which the student can pursue an MBA without quitting his /her job.
