IIM Mumbai offers a 1-year Post Graduate Diploma for Executives - Visionary Leaders for Manufacturing (PGDEx-VLFM) programme held full-time on-campus (residential). It is a programme designed with the collaboration of IIM Mumbai and IIT Delhi, meant to train budding leaders for senior or mid-level managerial roles. These students will learn how to provide a strategic impetus and drive change in an extensive range of verticals such as Operations & Supply Management, Business Excellence, World-class Manufacturing, Strategic Planning, and Digital Transformation. This course is meant to produce techno-managerial leaders who can make a difference in the manufacturing sector. 

With the focus on management, technology, leadership, and manufacturing technology, a peer-learning pedagogy is the base of this programme. According to the ever-changing dynamic business environment, this programme equips the students with the right knowledge and develops their skills which gives them an edge over others to thrive in the real world future endeavours. Under this programme, there is an aspect called VLFM (Visionary Leaders for Manufacturing) that provides an approach to learning leadership and managerial skills proactively which enables the students to become those who make impactful change and be competitive globally by executing decisions leading to breakthroughs helping the organisation advance through.

Since the programme is held equally by both IIM Mumbai and IIT Delhi, the fees are meant to be paid at both institutes. The fees meant to be paid at IIM Mumbai are INR 11.07 Lakhs and at IIT Delhi are INR 5.25 Lakhs. The total fees for the entire programme are INR 16.32 Lakhs.  The fees under IIM Mumbai cover tuition fees, hostel charges, caution money deposit, and alumni association membership & contribution. Under IIT Delhi, only tuition fees for the courses provided will be charged.
