The classes are generally held live and online, which cover the major part of the syllabus consisting of discussions, case studies and interactions. The other offline modules are taken under the campus immersion programme that consists of real classroom experience, face-to-face networking with peers, intellectual interactions with faculty/industry professionals and campus facilities. The total fees of the programme is INR 12.2 Lakhs. 

The eligibility criteria for the IIM Shillong Online MBA programme are given below-

• The student should have a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline.
• The student must have obtained a minimum aggregate mark of 50% at graduation. (45% for candidates belonging to SC, ST & DA category)
• The student must have full-time working experience of a minimum of 3 years.
• Should have a 50 percentile score or more in CAT/ minimum of 500 marks in GMAT / should have a score above the cutoff of the Working Executive Management Aptitude Test (WE-MAT).

Aspiring candidates can get enrolled to the courses offered by IIM Shillong without considering the financial burden through easy installment options. The “No Cost EMI” option is applied as one of the fee payment modes at the university. Students can choose this option for a duration of 6, 9, and 12 months. This plan might vary depending on the choice of course.

The final evaluation of the candidates is based on their performance in the internal assessments and term-end exams. To get certified in any online course, students need to score the minimum passing marks in each of the assessments. Apart from these, attendance in live classes and submission of projects & assignments on time is also part of the evaluating criteria.
