The Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT Bhubaneswar) is an autonomous technical university that was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India in 2008 and it is situated in  Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. IIT Bhubaneswar offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and executive (online) programs through its seven different schools of study.

IIT Bhubaneswar is under the second generation of IITs and it is located at the foothills of Brunei with a campus spread over 936 acres of land, but now the institute is working from its permanent campus at Argul. IIT Bhubaneswar has received funding of 1.93 Cr from the Central Power Research Institute for developing a design while demonstrating a monitoring system for central protection.
