About IIT Jammu
The Indian Institute of Technology is the finest technical institute in India and in the Union Budget of 2014-15, the Honourable Finance Minister of India announced the establishment of IIT Jammu followed by a list of four more IITs i.e. Kerala, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.
IIT Jammu is an autonomous institute that is situated in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, India, and was established on 6th August 2016. The first batch of IIT Jammu was placed on the campus of Paloura, Jammu. Initially, IIT Jammu was under the mentorship of IIT Delhi. IIT Jammu was also entitled as an institution of National Importance by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India in 2016.
IIT Jammu offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and executive (online) programs in multiple specializations. The main campus of IIT Jammu Online has been allotted 400 acres of land but Phase 1-A of the permanent campus is operational and consists of 25 acres, whereas Phase 1-B and 1-C are under construction. However the campus has all the required facilities a student needs in their academic life such as a hostel, accommodation, sports facility, library, and dispensary, and all mandatory facilities are available at the campus for students' comfort.

IIT Jammu EMI Details

IIT Jammu Admission Process
Candidates willing to enroll at IIT Jammu are requested to appear for the common entrance exam like JEE, GATE, JAM, CAT, or other relevant exam, depending upon the program candidate has opted such as Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for UG courses, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) for PG courses, and others. Candidates have to qualify for these exams by scoring minimum marks to fall under the cut-off criteria, qualified candidates can proceed with the application process which may include the application process, selection process, and other things.
IIT Jammu also offers a few online and executive programs, candidates interested in enrolling themselves in those programs have to follow some basic steps mentioned below, simultaneously the application process for every program remains the same:
Step 1 Candidates have to visit the official website of the institute and register themselves on it.
Step 2 The registration process will give access and login credentials for the admission portal to the candidate.
Step 3 Access the admission portal and click on the online application process.
Step 4 Before starting to fill out the application form, candidate have to provide their score on the common entrance exam and further application process will be only resumed if the score falls under the eligibility criteria.
Step 5 After the score submission, the candidate can begin filling out the application form with the required information.
Step 6 While filling out the application form candidates have to attach the required documents along with the application form.
Step 7 Candidate can move forward with the payment of the fee process and submit their form.
