The Online Executive M.Tech in Data Engineering is a 1-year extension of the 12-month Online PG Diploma in Data Engineering both of them being provided by IIT Jodhpur. It is a program that develops technical expertise in various aspects of data-based domains that depend on the complexities of the data applications such as Analytics, Generative AI, and Data Science. Held in hybrid mode, it has live classes held via a platform that leverages technology that enables video conferencing and e-learning tools. 

The student gets to develop competencies in various bifurcations of data preparing the student for the advanced future in which business organizations, especially technology-based businesses are going to leverage the potential of data dynamics to their advantage will eventually transform the digital space from time to time on a faster pace. There are immense challenges for which the student will be trained into a problem solver who designs solutions that are paramount to the development of data-based applications 

The classes of this program are held in the form of live online classes where the faculty is connected with the students virtually with the presence of each person in the setup from remote locations. In addition to that, the program is held in hybrid mode where the online aspect is discussed in the previous line and a two-time campus immersion spanning 7-9 days each is held where the student avails the campus facilities such as a library, real classroom experience, etc. 

The curriculum is designed to solidify expertise in a deep approach so that the students can be industry-ready for handling multi-faceted job roles that involve dynamically handling the complexities of data processes. More specifically there are several aspects in which the program will empower the students with the latest tools, trends, and techniques that are used in handling data. An application-oriented approach is adopted to enable students to learn by practicing.
