IIT Kanpur Admission Process
Admission to the IITK is offered based on the scores of the entrance exams conducted by its specified departments. For engineering courses, some common entrance exams like IIT JEE & GATE are considered a qualifying parameter to enroll in the UG & PG programs. However, to enroll in an online certification course, no entrance exam is required & a few steps can help you join the program easily. These steps mentioned below are common to all the programs offered at IITK except for the formalities associated with entrance exams in some courses.
Step 1- Visit the official website & register yourself.
Step 2- Re-login with registered credentials to access the online application form.
Step 3- Fill in your education, personal, & professional details in the online application form.
Step 4- Submit your cover letter, Statement of Purpose (SOP), & resume to justify your interest & potential for the program.
Step 5- Appear & clear the entrance exam, if applicable.
Step 6- After getting shortlisted, pay the course fee & get yourself enrolled with IIT Kanpur.
