The eligibility criteria for enrolling in the Online PGDM program by IMI Kolkata are given below: 

• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized university/institution.
• The candidate must have obtained a minimum aggregate mark of 50%.

IMI Kolkata considers students who can’t pay the fees upfront at once for the programs related to management. The exams for programs are held in online mode via software at the institute’s approval. The faculty is involved in evaluating the student across multiple formats which consist of a continuous feedback mechanism to keep the student engaged with the curriculum. There are summer internships that consist of the report that encompasses a summarization of activities performed during the summer internship, a presentation of ideas & findings, and a viva which tests the student’s experience & knowledge during the internship.
