Online MCA in NLP and LLM Development

The Online MCA in NLP and LLM Development course provided by Jain University is a well-rounded 2-year postgraduate course to help students grasp the latest current knowledge in Natural Language Processing and Large Language Model development. The program is a 100% online program that offers unrivalled flexibility to working professionals and other students to complete their advanced studies without putting aside their careers and other personal needs. Our curriculum is well-designed to optimally combine theory with practical applications so that graduates will be industry-ready to address dynamic issues in the AI and machine learning realms.

Students who join this course will gain mastery of Natural Language Processing foundational aspects, such as text preprocessing, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, machine translation, question-answering systems, conversational AI, the transformer (BERT, GPT, T5), attention mechanisms, and LLM fine-tuning methods through the use of libraries such as Hugging Face and PyTorch and TensorFlow. The course is designed with a broader curriculum that will essentially cover critical Computer Science basics like advanced algorithms, data structures, distributed computing, machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, vector databases and modern software engineering practices, including DevOps and MLOps pipelines.

The program also focuses on the practical aspects of implementation through industry-sponsored capstone projects, research publications, open-source results, hackathons, and collaborative coding with Git, Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Students learn how to develop productionally viable NLP systems, tune pre-trained NLP models, train custom language models, build RAG (Retrieval-Augmentation Generative) systems, create conversational AI, and deploy scalable AI.

Our faculty is highly qualified; its members hold a doctoral degree, have worked in FAANG companies, are AI specialists, alumni of IITs/IISc, and have experience in AI research in fast-growing startups and tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI. They make sure that the newest advances in AI, such as GPT-4, Claude, LLaMA, PaLM, and upcoming multimodal models, will be smoothly adopted in the curriculum.

The program preserves an extensive industry network with major AI companies, research laboratories, and tech unicorns, which offer the students internship placements, student mentoring programs, and even the opportunity to be directly involved in research projects. Students have access to real-world problems that can be solved by creating chatbots in the enterprise, various domain-specific language models, content creation tools powered by AI, and multilingual NLP. The program is UGC approved and NAAC A+ accredited and carries the same academic standing as on-campus degrees, and can thus be used to take employment, to continue academic study or gain an international career based on the degree earned.
