M.Tech in Electronics and Communication

M.Tech stands for Master of Technology, it is a postgraduate degree program in engineering and technology. We, Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth University provide this course for working professionals.Here, students get to choose a specialization according to their interests. In this course, we provide multiple specializations, and Electronics and Communication is one of them. Electronics and Communication or ECE is an engineering branch that includes the development, designing, and maintenance of communication systems and electronic equipment. 

Electronics and communication engineers work on systems such as satellites, televisions, radars, etc. Electronics and Communication Engineers basically perform actions like testing, monitoring, and construction of electrical equipment. These engineers work on systems like the tiniest microchips to huge satellites. Because of things like power generation, telephone, etc, this branch of engineering has emerged. The workplace of these engineers depends on the kind of work they are performing, for example, while designing products, they have to work in the office, and while testing or monitoring they have to work on the sites. The origin of this branch came from inventions like the light bulb, television, radio, induction motor, etc.

It is one of the most famous branches of engineering and technology. Electronics and Communication Engineers are very much in demand in the job market. This degree program is specially designed for working professionals. Working professionals are the people who are employed and are interested in pursuing a degree without leaving their jobs. This Electronics and Communication Engineering M.Tech is a mixture of online and offline modes of education. This course is similar to the traditional mode of education. This course provides advanced information on engineering and technology in electronics and communication. In this course, the timing of classes will be in the evenings, on weekends, or on public holidays. The method to conduct classes is through live lectures but students also get access to recorded lectures. For practical classes and practice, stimulated virtual labs are provided to students. This course is a combination of core subjects, elective courses, projects, and practical subjects. Each semester some activities are performed to measure students’ academic performance and keep them engaged, such as assignments, tests, quizzes, projects, etc.
