About LPU Online MA
LPU offers the Master of Arts (MA) in a fully online mode through the Learning Management System (LMS) of the university. The classes are held live according to a pre-decided schedule. The live classes are recorded and uploaded on the LMS for students to access them at any time in the future. The learning material is also in digital form and available on the LMS.
The online MA course from LPU is offered in the following 5 specializations - Economics, English, History, Sociology, and Political Science. The syllabus and curriculum for all these specializations are completely different. This syllabus has been designed by expert academicians, authors, historians, and veterans from each domain. The course is taught by the experienced and esteemed faculty of Lovely Professional University.
The students of the online MA Courses are provided with personalized mentorship for skill enhancement of the students, guidance on further education/research work, and also towards their career development. There is placement assistance as well with services like Mock Interviews and skill enhancement programs called the Professional Enhancement Program (PEP) to help students gain all the knowledge and skills needed to crack placements. LPU Online MA Admission Process
The admission procedure at LPU Online takes place in online mode. The fresh admission batches starts in every 6 months. The admissison session generally starts in the month of January and July of every year. Direct admission is done on the basis of one’s educational qualification, no other entrance exams are conducted for taking admission. The admission procedure 2023 for the online courses at LPU Online is as follows:
Step 1- First step is registration. You have to sign up and pay a registration fee of ₹500.
Step 2- Next step is to fill the online application form and upload relevant documents.
Step 3- Now, you have to pay the program fee.
Step 4- The university will verify the documents and notify you for further procedures.
Step 5- Upon approval from the university, you will get your LMS credentials via email.

LPU Online conducts online proctored exams that are remotely monitored live using several Artificial Intelligence tools. Yes, an online MA degree is completely valid when pursued from a UGC-DEB approved and recognised college. It is really important that your college has the right approvals for online education.
At LPU, students can pay the fee either semester-wise or a one-time payment of the entire course fee. The total fee for the online MA program is INR 76,000 (INR 19,000 per semester). The total fee is reduced to INR 70,000 in case of a one-time payment.
The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised higher education institution.
