Various skills can be enhanced during the course, and these skills may include communication skills, active listening, time management, attention to detail, negotiation, critical thinking, strategic thinking, analytical skills, teamwork, work ethics, problem-solving, decision making, adaptability, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and more. All these skills are soft skills; apart from this, various technical skills are there that students get to enhance. These technical skills may include accounting software tools, data analysis tools, digital marketing tools, SAP (System, Applications, & Products), cloud computing, UI/UX Design, cryptocurrency, and more.

Unlike every BCom program, an ODL BCom program is a 3-year program, even if it is offered at MATS University.
