National Institute of Technology (NIT) Sikkim Admission Process
NIT Sikkim has an efficient admission process for its on-campus and online courses. In the case of online programs to be provided in partnership with Intellipaat, the steps to be followed are as follows:
Step 1: Go to the official admission portal of the online programs at NIT Sikkim, and create an account by giving the basic contact information.
Step 2: Choose the preferred specialization in the program and go through the eligibility requirements, such as the degree qualification and minimum percentage required.
Step 3: Fill in the detailed application form and personal, academic and professional details and documents required.
Step 4: Attend the entrance examination or eligibility test according to the program requirements.
Step 5: Visit the counselling session (on the Internet or physically) to be assigned a seat and verify the documents.
Step 6: Pay the fee using the secure online payment gateways and be admitted with access to the Learning Management System.

No, it is not necessary; however, students need to study mathematics and must know about the subject to apply for an online MSc in Applied Artificial Intelligence. There is an important point to note that if any students who have not studied Mathematics in their graduation can take an additional subject in their master’s program at NIT Sikkim. NIT Sikkim offers an additional Mathematics Subject with an additional charge of INR 20,000/- for the whole subject.
