The SNDT Women's University offers an Online MA in English, a two-year course designed to help students learn more about the literature, language, and critical thinking of the modern world. The program is open to graduates who have a minimum of 50 per cent BA/BSc/BCom, and students of various academic backgrounds are welcome. Its virtual format is more than flexible, and it is therefore suited to working professionals and students who are in need of higher qualifications without messing up their schedules.

The curriculum incorporates four semesters of classic and contemporary literary studies and the study of advanced language and critical theory. Modern Critical Theory, Language Acquisition, Syllabus Design, Academic Writing, Feminist Theory, Drama, Poetry, and Global South Criticism are discussed in the learning process. They additionally examine Shakespearean film versions, feminine portrayal in drama, Partition literature, and Bhakti, or Modern Indian poetry. Skill-oriented modules, such as Corporate English, language teaching practice, and research methodology, enable the students to develop good analytical and writing skills.

Internships, fieldwork and research projects are also part of the program, providing students with hands-on experience on literary analysis, pedagogical strategies and applied communication. Graduates of the MA are prepared at the conclusion of the MA to work in the areas of teaching, content development, journalism, publishing, editing, research, corporate communications, and academic writing.
