Flexible Timing format is a blended format of learning that includes both online and on-campus studies. This learning format has been recognized by AICTE for the BTech and MTech courses, thus, offering them equal recognition in the industry as the regular engineering programs.SVU offers technical courses in a flexible timing mode with a blend of online and on-campus classes.

Under the flexible timing category, SVU offers B.Tech in 6 specializations and M.Tech in 10 specializations.

SVU conducts hybrid classes for its flexible timing scheme courses. Theoretical learning is through online classes while practical learning is through offline on-campus classes and practical labs. Those who miss online classes can access the recorded lectures on the LMS and those who can not attend on-campus labs can access them in virtual and remote mode.

No, M.Tech can not be pursued online because the government doesn’t allow it considering its technical needs. However, there is a special privilege for working professionals as they can pursue M.Tech in a hybrid mode under the flexible timing scheme which is approved by AICTE.

SVU is approved and entitled by UGC and AICTE to offer the M.Tech course under the "flexible timing" category. The course is not completely online but is delivered in a hybrid mode for the convenience of learners.

SVU offers the following 5 specializations for their B.Tech flexible timing program-

• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science Engineering
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
