About SVU WILP M.Tech
The SVU WILP M.Tech degree programme is designed for professionals who have already completed their B.Tech/B.E. degree and are now working as full-time professionals. This course allows such professionals to complete further education without giving up their professional engagements.
This is a well-accredited course of postgraduate level, and being a lateral entry course, it has one extra semester (i.e. 5 semesters/ 2.5 years) in comparison to a regular M.Tech programme which is of a duration of 2 years. The additional final semester is to accommodate the practical aspects of the course curriculum. The MTech course for working professionals also meets various other specifications mentioned by bodies such as AICTE and UGC for a part-time engineering course.
Designed with an updated and detailed curriculum, this course uses a pedagogy that allows students to grasp the concepts through a number of formats including interactive offline lectures, online lectures, comprehensive and engaging learning materials, simulated labs for practising and much more. Overall, the course weaves self-paced learning practices with a detailed curriculum to enhance the understanding of skills required to excel in this field. - This is a course in the blended mode of learning as students can attend offline classes, which are conducted in the evenings and on holidays and weekends, as well as recorded online lectures available on the university’s LMS.

SVU WILP M.Tech Admission Process
There is an online admission procedure for applying to a technical program at SVU. Fresh admissions generally start in January of every year. One only needs to fill out the admission form available online on the SVU website and apply directly for admission. There is no entrance exam conducted for technical programs, unlike other B.Tech programs. The admission procedure for 2025 for online courses at SVU is as follows:
Step 1: Visit the official SVU website.
Step 2: On the Home Page, you will find Apply Now under which you have to fill in your basic details and submit.
Step 3: Now the admission form will open on your screen. Fill in your basic personal details and click on “Next”.
Step 4: Now select your course and specialization and complete the fee payment.
Step 5: Fill in all your academic details and then upload the necessary documents and then Submit.

SVU WILP M.Tech Examination Pattern
The semester exams are conducted offline and on campus. These exams are usually scheduled over weekends. Apart from the semester exams, all the other assignments/quizzes are held online.

I was enrolled in SVU and their LMS and study material qualities are great.lecturers are good in their respective field .Their support team was also supportive . Only student and college internal communication was very less which need to be improved .Assignment number was challenging as compared to time ,that too need to addressed as working professional don't have time to fullfil all assignment deadline.
