The majority of programs offered at Welingkar Distance Education follow a semester pattern and every semester consists of 6 months simultaneously, every subject includes 2 major components namely the mid term examination and end term examination respectively. Every exam offers students a 15-20 days period to appear for their examination on 24*7 and preferred timings. The mid term examination carries 20% weightage whereas the end term examination carries 80% of the overall weightage of the marks and a student is required to score a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks to clear the examination simultaneously, if a student fails in any subject they can re-appear for the exam. The mid term examination includes assignments and evaluates the practical understanding of the candidate whereas the end term examination evaluates the overall theoretical understanding of the program developed by a candidate during their academic journey.
