To pursue an online Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree after completing a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), you generally need to first obtain a master's degree in a related field, such as an MBA or a Master's in Information Technology.

You can’t pursue a Ph.D. in India after a 3-year BCA, as UGC requires a 4-year degree with 75% marks for doctorate programs. However, with 3 years of work experience, you can apply for an online DBA from accredited foreign universities like SSBM, ESGCI Paris, or Golden Gate University.

As per UGC's latest guidelines, only 4-year graduates with 75% marks can register for the UGC-NET exam to enroll in Ph.D. or doctorate courses. Since a BCA is 3 years, thus, you cannot apply for a doctorate after a BCA in India.

However, if you are a working professional and hold some work experience, you can apply for an online DBA after your BCA degree. Online DBAs are offered by accredited foreign universities without the mandate of passing any entrance exam. The only requirement for an online DBA is a recognized graduation degree with at least 3 years of work experience.
