Is DBA equal to PhD and is it accepted or approved or recognised by UGC in India for teaching or others?

Yes, a DBA holds the same value as a PhD in India, and it is one of the best alternatives to a PhD. In India PhD is not allowed in online or distance mode, but if you want to complete a doctoral program with other commitments then you can opt for a DBA.
