As per the regulation circulated by the University Grants Commission (UGC) an online and distance degree holds the same value and recognition as a regular degree program and is completely valid for private and government job opportunities.

However, a student is advised to check the approvals and accreditations of an online university before enrolling in it.

Yes, online degrees are accepted by both government and private industry because online degrees are approved by the UGC ( University Grants Commission). One thing that you must make sure of is you must earn an online degree from a UGC, NAAC, or AICTE-approved university.

Yes, according to the UGC guidelines, an online degree is equivalent to a regular degree and is completely acceptable in the industry by both government and private organizations. The only thing that you have to keep in mind is that you have earned your online degree from a UGC-approved university.

If you think of getting a government job after completing your online degree program, well, then yes, you can do that. As per the UGC guidelines and rules, online degrees are considered to be an equal and relevant mode of degree/program, just like the offline and regular mode of program.

So, whether you pursue the program in the online mode or offline mode, your degree will be valid and applicable for government and private jobs. You just need to note one important point here: the university you are attending or will attend to pursue your degree, which needs to be from a UGC-approved university.

Yes, online university degrees are generally considered valid for both government and private sector jobs, provided they are from a recognized and accredited university, particularly one approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The validity of an online degree is not dependent on the mode of delivery (online vs. on-campus), but rather on the institution's accreditation and recognition
