The Doctorate program is structured with a blend of comprehensive coursework, original research, Thesis Writing, and Viva Voice. At the beginning of the doctorate program, students go through comprehensive coursework that is provided to build a fundamental base for the students in research methodology, hypothesis, research ethics, etc. Once the coursework is completed, comprehensive examinations are conducted to assess the research ability of the students.
After the comprehensive examinations are over, students begin with the original research under the supervision of their supervisors. Once the research is completed, they start with the thesis preparation. In the PhD Thesis, they write down their research findings and submit them for evaluation. At last, Viva's Voice is conducted in which students need to defend their research findings before the departmental research committee.
