About Alagappa University Online
The University was established in the year 1985 in the state of Tamil Nadu, which is extended into an area of 440 acres in the lush green campus of Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu. The foundation of the University was laid by one of the great educationalists & philanthropists Dr Alagappa. The University is formed after a special act of the state legislature of Tamil Nadu.
This Institute has around 2 Constituent Colleges that consist of 9 educational centres & 44 Departments that are located in the Sivaganga & Ramanathapuram districts of the State. The University started providing online courses to students who can not travel to the study centres and are working professionals.

Alagappa University Online EMI Details
The University provides many programs in nearly all modes of education, viz, online, distance, and regular modes of education. The fees of online and distance education are comparatively lower than the regular models students are not required to travel to the college, which saves a good chunk of their money. Additionally, the students do not have to pay hefty fees as the fee for Online Education Programs is comparatively low than the other full-time regular courses.
Alagappa University Online Admission Process
You can take admission to the University by following some basic steps mentioned here:
Step 1- Find the best suit course for you and closely check the eligibility criteria for admission to the university in that specific course.
Step 2- The next step is to log in to the admission portal of the official website.
Step 3- Fill in all your necessary details like your number and password.
Step 4- You will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number. Confirm the number and complete your application form.
Step 5- Check all the details filled up by you. And then move to the next step of scanning and uploading all the relevant documents.
Step 6- Now click on Final Submit Button on the portal after completing the form.
Step 7- Now move ahead toward the fee submission of the course.
Step 8- Get a print of the fee receipt of the form and also save the application form for future reference.

Alagappa University Online Examination Pattern
The examination will be conducted in online mode on the dedicated student's login portal. The students are required to log in there and start attempting the paper. There will be two sections of the examination, Part A which will be consisting 33 MCQs (No negative Marking will be done). And another section of the examination Part B, is a subjective paper and students have to answer these questions on the A4 size sheet.

- Visit the official website of Alagappa University. Click Here.
- Search for the What’s New Menu and click on the update of the Online Programs Examination.
- Visit the Student Login Portal and fill in your credentials(Registered Number and DOB).
- Enter Sign in.
- On your portal, click on the “Download e-Hall Ticket”. On the same admit card, you will get the date and time of all the exams.
- On the examination day, Again login on the same student portal.
- Click on “Download Question Paper”. And start attempting the paper.

The university offers a variety of courses in different specializations. Their various facilities are also provided by the university which assists students in easy campus life but the facilities can be improved for a better student campus life.
