About Goa University
Goa University was initially the University of Bombay Centre of Post-Graduate Instruction and Research (CPIR), which was developed to become Goa University in 1985. The university is located on 402 acres on the Taleigao Plateau and provides a quiet yet modern-day university campus consisting of libraries, sports complexes, hostels, and a 24x7 internet connection. It has 3 undergraduate, 44 postgraduate, and 28 PHD programs in ten interdisciplinary schools. It is ranked as one of the top public universities in India in NIRF, QS, and THE, with an accreditation of NAAC A+ (CGPA 3.3/4.0). The University is actively involved in the implementation of NEP 2020, with several options at the entry and exit and the Academic Bank of Credits.
Goa University encourages digital learning via SWAYAM and their Unigoa Pathshala and UNIGOA Directorate of digital learning. Research and innovation are its main centers, and it has projects, which are funded by DST, UGC, and the Ministry of Earth Sciences. It has incubators in biotech, IT and health at the GURU Research Park, which promotes start-ups and innovation. Goa University EMI Details
The EMI facility and education loan facility are not specifically reported on the official site of Goa University. Whereas the courses offered by the university through the normal and online portals are relatively cheap, most applicants are not able to afford the courses. Other academic hubs are also offering the EMI plan of studying at this university to reverse this trend of students admitting to the University. This will also be comfortable since the course fee will be paid in installments, and the benefit of paying the course fee to the university will be experienced.
Goa University Admission Process
Step 1: Visit the official Goa University admission portal on the site, www.unigoa.ac.in, to verify eligibility, courses, and timetables.
Step 2: Register your account and complete your personal, academic, and contact information.
Step 3: Pay INR 300 as the payment for one program and INR 50 as the payment for each program added through a Demand Draft in favor of the Registrar, Goa University, to be paid at Panaji.
Step 4: Keep all the necessary information accurate, such as the DD number and amount and make a submission on the form online.
Step 5: Print and pass your photo, sign on the submitted form, attach it with certified documents and DD, and post or hand it over to the Head of the respective department.
Step 6: Click the verification link that will be forwarded to the email account you have registered to verify your application and remember your reference number.
Step 7: Look at the merit list on the university site. In any case, visit the university with original documents to have final admission.

Goa University Examination Pattern
The instruction of the traditional courses is not an exception in the online courses of Goa University. Theoretical tests will be conducted and internal tests will also be conducted and this will be taken into consideration when coming up with the final score. You will also hand in your assignments, projects, viva, quizzes, or any other assignments that are in tandem with the in-house tests since they will be given by your professor, and you will also take the end-of-semester tests of each of the subjects. Only the internal tests and the end-of-semester exams are the means by which one can pass and move to the new semester.
