IIM Ranchi offers a 2-year Executive MBA course for executives and working professionals. It is delivered in Hybrid mode in which classes are held during weekends and every term there will be classes held on campus between 4-6 days where the student is exposed to the richness and immersive experience of the campus. This program has 6 terms. The curriculum is meant to develop an understanding of various management theories, concepts, and practices.

Some of the core management subjects that are taught are Finance & Accounting, Liberal Arts & Science, Operations, Organisation Behaviour & Human Resources Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Information Systems & Business Analytics, Marketing, and Strategy. 

The specializations provided in this course are Economics, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, OB & HR, Information Systems & Business Analytics, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, and Operations Management. This course is well suited for those who want to work as well as study to develop skills and knowledge to advance them to higher managerial positions.

• Must have scored a minimum of 50% in graduation.
• The candidate must have work experience of a minimum of 3 years.

IIM Ranchi has a decent system in place for its examination and evaluation system. Final examinations are held each term to evaluate the student’s complete knowledge of the subject. This exam helps the student to test out whatever is learned and the expression of what the student has understood. Then there are case studies that evaluate how the student applies their knowledge to understand planning, execution, and outcomes of a case study. The final examinations are held in an online format. Any changes in the mode of conducting the exams will be notified in advance.

IIM Ranchi has a decent record when it comes to placing its students from the Executive MBA batch into high-performing companies. Some of the companies partnered with IIM Ranchi that participated in the placements were Amazon, Capgemini, Deloitte, Infosys, HSBC, Nomura, etc. The highest CTC achieved by the batch was domestically around INR 34-36 LPA and internationally around INR 66-68 LPA.
