Who Can Apply?
The eligibility criteria required for applying to the IIM Shillong Executive MBA programme are the following-
- A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline.
- A minimum of 50%* marks or CGPA in graduation.
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience after graduation.
- Should have a qualifying score in the institute’s exam, Working Executive Management Aptitude Test (WE-MAT), or should have a CAT score in the 50 percentile, or should have a GMAT score of 500.
*Minimum 45% marks for candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste(SC), Scheduled Tribe(ST) and Differently Abled (DA)

IIM Shillong EMI Details
Aspiring candidates can get enrolled to the courses offered by IIM Shillong without considering the financial burden through easy installment options. The “No Cost EMI” option is applied as one of the fee payment modes at the university. Students can choose this option for a duration of 6, 9, and 12 months. This plan might vary depending on the choice of course.
IIM Shillong Admission Process
The admission for IIM Shillong for the same batch happens in two rounds. Both rounds have the same procedure. The following is the step-by-step process of the admission procedure-
- An application form must be filled out by the candidate.
- The candidate should either take a Working Executive Management Aptitude test (WE-MAT) or submit their CAT/GMAT scores, to be considered for shortlisting.
- Then there will be a shortlisting of candidates for the Interview Process.
- In online mode, the shortlisted candidates will be attending their interview process.
- At a later date, the institute will declare the selected students for its latest batch along with a waiting list.
- Then the classes will be held on the day of commencement.

IIM Shillong Examination Pattern
The examination and evaluation pattern of IIM Shillong is of a proper standard maintaining the knowledge gained by the student during the course. These examinations and evaluations test the student’s ability to express knowledge and the application of it. Case studies are taught for the understanding of several aspects involving the running of a business or an organisation. When I look back on my time at IIM Shillong, it's clear how meticulously this institution honed my skills.
