About IIT Jodhpur
IIT Jodhpur, Indian Institute of Technology of Jodhpur, India’s prestigious institute was established in the year 2008. It provides quality education, research facilities and high technologies to its students. It is a public technical institute that is located in the city of Rajasthan Jodhpur. It was established with the support of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, GOI. This institute was first announced by the Central Government in the year 2007, and the official announcement was made in 2008 with its first academic session.
The first academic session was started at the campus of IIT Kanpur with around 109 undergraduate programs in mechanical engineering, computer science engineering and electrical engineering. The final approval was given to IIT Jodhpur by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. IITJ is placed beautifully in Jodhpur City and is spread over 852 acres of land. Their main permanent campus was established in 2013 It is a self-sustained model have around 20 laboratories and a classroom holding a capacity of 200 people.
Currently, it has more than 14 schools & departments the School of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, the School of Liberal Arts (SoLA), Chemical Engineering, Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, School of Management & Entrepreneurship, Biosciences and Bioengineering, Chemistry, Computer Science & Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics.
It offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and programs for working professionals. Courses offered to the students are, B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering, B.Tech. IIT Jodhpur Admission Process
IIT Jodhpur offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and other doctoral degree courses to the students, However, admission to this institution requires a lot of dedication, effort and hard work. The students need to appear in the JEE examination, JAM, GATE and many other competitive exams. The students will be selected based on the cutoffs and marks and All India Rank. Step 1- The first step is registering on the online website and filling in all the information correctly.
Step 2- The institute completes two-step verification with the help of the entered phone number and email address.
Step 3- Fill in all the details and make sure to check the same to avoid any future trouble.
Step 4- Upload all the documents like photographs, caste certificates, academic transcripts and scorecards of the examination.
Step 5- The final step is paying the fee on the portal and later downloading the application form and keeping it for future reference.
