IIT Jodhpur, Indian Institute of Technology of Jodhpur, India’s prestigious institute, was established in the year 2008. It provides quality education, research facilities and high technologies to its students. It is a public technical institute that is located in the city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It was established with the support of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, GOI. This institute was first announced by the Central Government in the year 2007, and the official announcement was made in 2008 with its first academic session. 

The first academic session was started at the campus of IIT Kanpur with around 109 undergraduate programs in mechanical engineering, computer science engineering and electrical engineering. The final approval was given to IIT Jodhpur by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. IIT Jodhpur is placed beautifully in Jodhpur City and is spread over 852 acres of land. Their main permanent campus was established in 2013 It is a self-sustained model have around 20 laboratories and a classroom holding a capacity of 200 people.
