University of Rajasthan Distance Education

The University of Rajasthan was established on January 8, 1947, and was first known by the name University of Rajputana. Teaching and research are conducted by 36 departments, 12 centers and  126 affiliated colleges. The university offers a PhD program in 37 and an MPhil in 36 specializations. And other bachelor's and honors degrees also. To make this plethora of programs accessible to the masses by offering flexibility, the University of Rajasthan- Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) established under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 offers several UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate and PhD programs in distance education mode with affordable prices. It was established with the vision of providing top-quality education that is accessible and affordable for all. 

The university is UGC-approved and NAAC accredited with an “A+” Grade which makes the distance degree programs from the distance university valid in India and internationally. Completing a distance degree from the University of Rajasthan distance education qualifies candidates for jobs in private and government sectors both. The programs offered at the University of Rajasthan Distance Education are very affordable, however for students facing financial difficulties it may get difficult to pay the full program fee at once, to help students with the option to submit the fee semester or year-wise, through the total fees divides and allow students to easily pursue the program stop worrying about financial constraints. There are also tuition fee relaxations offered to some selected students based on the university’s rules.

The examination at the University of Rajasthan for distance education exams for semesters I and III was conducted from November to December, and for semester II and IV examinations were conducted from April to June. Exams pattern is usually the same as regular exams where students have qualified for the theoretical exam which carries the maximum percentage to pass the course.
