Is M.Tech Distance Education AICTE Approved?

The Supreme Court has clearly passed an order saying that the M.Tech program in distance learning mode is not considered valid and cannot be allowed by any university or institute to include in their curriculum.

The main reason behind this decision is that the course structure of the M.Tech program mostly includes subjects that require practical study in the college like the regular mode course.

This is the reason why the Supreme Court came with this decision that the M.Tech program needs to be completed in the regular classes. This clearly led the Supreme Court to declare the Distance M.Tech and B.Tech as an invalid program in any university of India.

After this decision of the Supreme Court, both AICTE and UGC followed the order of the Supreme Court and declared the program of Btech and M.Tech distance education as invalid courses.
