Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has decided to remove the Research Entrance Test (RET) for admission to its PhD programs. It has adopted the latest amendments of the University Grants Commission (UGC) to govern its PhD admissions.Previously, BHU used to conduct its PhD admissions on two grounds. The first was based on its Research Entrance Test (RET Mode) and RET Exempted Mode for JRF Qualified Students.
