Eligibility Criteria of Distance/Correspondence/Part-Time BTech
The eligibility criteria to pursue the distance B. Tech course is that the students must have completed their 10+2 schooling with a physics, chemistry, and maths background and 60% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Some universities may conduct Entrance examinations for admission in B.Tech; candidates need to pass the entrance to reach the assigned cut-off to get admission.
The candidates who have completed the 3 years of diploma in the same branch in which they want to pursue the Btech course can also apply for the course. They can get direct admission to the second year of the BTech course.
Distance/Correspondence/Part-Time BTech – Admission Process
- The method of admission of B. Tech in distance learning mode is very simple and straightforward.
- Every university has different guidelines for taking admission to the B.Tech course. Some universities will allow direct admission on the other hand some universities conduct entrance examinations for admission.
- If any student has cleared any IIT-based entrance test like JEE mains etc they are allowed to take direct admission to the university.
