NMIMS Distance MBA Admission Process Step by Step 2023

For admission into the NMIMS Distance MBA, the students do not need to give any entrance test or personal interview. The admission process for NMIMS Distance MBA programs is as follows: 

Step 1- Candidates need to first and foremost fill-up the online Registration Form and also pay the mentioned admission processing fee. 

Step 2- Next, candidates need to submit their documents to the Authorised Enrolment Partner, where the counsellor will verify them and then upload them to the University system. The Candidates need to carry the following documents: 

• Work Experience Certificates (if any)
• Academic Certificates and Documents
• Photo Id 
• Passport Size photos 

Step 3- When the documents are uploaded successfully, the candidates have to pay the program fee. The payment can be done online or via Demand Draft which must be in favour of “SVKM’s NMIMS’ and payable at Mumbai.

• Distance MBA students can choose from two modes of learning- Pro mode and Prime mode.

• The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks but from a recognised University or an equivalent degree approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
• The candidates with less than 50% marks in graduation can also apply only if they have at least two years of relevant work experience.

To take admission in the NMIMS MBA for Working Executives, the candidates have to appear for a personal interview, after which their candidature is approved. Given below are the detailed steps for the admission process for NMIMS MBA (WX):

Step 1- Candidates need to first fill out the online application form to register themselves with the university and pay the application fee as mentioned in the form. 

Step 2- The next step is to submit the required documents to the Authorised Enrolment Partner. The documents will be verified by the counsellor and then uploaded on the system. Candidates need to carry the following documents:

• Academic Documents
• Work Experience Documents 
• Photo Id
• Passport size photos

NOTE- At the time of admission, the candidates must remember to carry the original documents. 

Step 3- After successful submission of all the above-mentioned documents, the candidates will be informed and called for a Personal Interview (PI) via email. 

Step 4- The candidates who pass the interview will be informed and then they will have to first pay an advance fee of Rs. 40,000. This advance fee must be paid within 7 days after the offer letter is issued for seat reservation. The rest of the program fee must be paid within 1 month of the same date. There are two modes of payment for the same:

• Online 
• Demand Draft in favour of ‘SVKM’s NMIMS’ which is payable at Mumbai 

Step 5- Once all the above steps are successfully done, the University will verify and approve the submitted documents and payments. After this, a ‘student number’ will be issued to mark the admission confirmation.

• The students can also avail the loan facility now, that too without a Credit Card. 
• EMI Facility (3, 6, 9, 12 months) is also available but via credit cards of these banks: ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Citi Bank, HSBC Bank.

Eligibility of NMIMS MBA for Working Executives 2023

• Candidates who have passed their bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university can get admission in MBA (WX).
• Students should have passed their qualifying degree with a minimum of 55% with 3+ years of work experience.
• After you have got the post-graduation or any other professional degree from an approved university with a minimum of 55% and 2+ years of work experience, then you can get admission in this course.
