Is B.Tech Distance Education Valid?

IGNOU closed its registration window for the Jan 2024 admission on 31st March 2024. IGNOU will soon re-open the registration window for the July 2024 session however, there are some alternatives of IGNOU you can look at. For more details click here.

However, IGNOU does not offer the distance B.Tech course. This is because B.Tech course can not be offered in distance learning. B.Tech is a technical course that needs practical knowledge and experience. This is why B.Tech course can not be pursued in a completely distance learning mode. 
 
However, you can pursue the course in a part-time mode. The part-time mode is either a combination of online and offline learning or only offline learning but only in the evenings or on weekends. This is why the course is often called an Evening B.Tech course.
