Galgotias University was established in 2011 after it was sponsored by the Smt. Shakuntala Educational & Welfare Society and is located in Uttar Pradesh. It has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A+ grade and also awarded the status of autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission, Ministry of Education, GOI. The university offers both online and on-campus courses to the students.
