Galgotias University was established in 2011 after it was sponsored by Smt. Shakuntala Educational & Welfare Society, and located in Uttar Pradesh. It has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A+ grade and also awarded the status of autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission, Ministry of Education, GOI. The University offers both online and on-campus courses to the students.

The University offers various financial aids to the students to make the journey of students smooth. Serving & retired defense, CRPF, Parliamentary, and Police personnel can take the financial aid for the students. They offer Sports Quota Scholarships,  Merit-based scholarships, and many more.

They offer a 100% waiver on the tuition fee to all the board and University toppers. 50% Scholarship is granted to the students securing a rank up to 4000 in the JEE Examination. And waiver of 25% on tuition fees for the students securing 93% marks or above in PCM and 80% marks or more in graduation. 

The Examination for the students enrolled in Online programs at the University is done in online mode. The University conducts examinations online mode. Students are strictly advised to follow all the instructions by the students. The examination will be done on the LMS platform. Check the updated datasheet on the website.

The question papers of each subject will consist of MCQ, fill-ups, single word, and some subjective questions. Charge your laptop, or keep it connected to the energy supply. Login on the LMS before the examination starts to avoid any problems in the mid-examination. The examination pattern can also be analyzed by looking at the last year's papers.
